I just woke up after sleeping for 14 hours!! what a F@#$^&g trip, that was one of the funnest times I have had in my life. I had so much fun racing my coupe out there, and driving that little roadster around the beautiful Texas countryside I dont think I am going to be able to focus at the shop today. I cant stop replaying everything in my head. I wanted to thank everyone for an awesome time Special thanks goes to all the Kontinentals!!! Krupanaut, Buzzard, Tyler, I am glad I got to hang with you guys. El Jefe thanks for everything you are the man! I also have to give a big thanks to Will Muntz & The Lucky Lounge for one of the worst hangovers I have had in years!!! I am so stoked I got to meet so many people- Fat Luckys, Jason and the flyrite crew, Jeff & Kati Hammett. Big Ric and the Outkasts rule, that 55 is baadd. Sorry I didnt take you for a ride dude. Brian B*** It just goes without saying, you rule dude, thanks for making my R.P.U. look so good. Sorry for the ramble and if I forgot anyone, I am still trying to recover from the weekend and the drive. Thanks Again everyone Jimmy White & The Circle City Hot Rods Crew.
damn sounds like everyone that went had a damn good time. How long did the trip take from socal Jimmy? Maybe I'll have to try and make it next year.
Thanks to ya'll for coming half way across the country for our little race. Kinda ****s that we think we got it goin' on, and then you Cali guys show up with the coolest rides! The truck is super sweet and, of course, the coupe is beyond cool.
Jimmy, Its our pleasure to have you and your crew here and y'all are welcome anytime. You are a ruler! Seeing you and Blue in the rpu rolling through the morning rain was awesome! Then seeing the coupe run like it did the first time on the strip was a highlight of the weekend. Hope your not in too much dutch with the wife! Thanks for coming all the way out here, see ya soon bro.
Thanks, Buzzard and krupanaut for the compliments. Did anyone happen to take pictures of my coupe and the R.P.U. in front of the Continental? It was like a dream come true seeing those cars in front of the club. Thanks again to everyone I seriously had one of the best times of my life. JImmy White P.s. dustin (kartbreaker) you are a wildman.
Dude... You rode your Coupe all the way out there..!! That's hard ****in' core!! Sounds like a great time! Piero already advised me... next time I'll have to visit other places than So Cal in the US... Talk soon, Maurice
Like I posted in a previous post, I was bummed I never got to meet you Jimmy. I've wanted to ask you a few things about your coupe ever since I saw it in HRD.2. There was'nt much down time at the track if you were runnin your car. It was basically run and get back in line and wait.I thought I'd see ya later that night but I got sick and had to leave. When Jimmy's coup was on the track and he hit the gas,you knew it. That thing had some HP. It was cool to see it run. RPU looks good and if B*** does'nt watch out, people are gonna start actually calling him a painter. Hope you can make it back next year.
Jimmy...dude, it was great to see you, Curtis, Danno, and Blue Bear again. I told you that you guys would have a blast if you came to the drags...it just ****s that you didn't get to stay longer! Next time you need to plan on being in Texas for at least a week. The RPU turned out ****ing fantastic...and it rules that you drove it in the rain to the track. Thanks again for giving me the opportunity to work on it with you and Grant. It goes without saying that your hot rod is going to be legendary...12.82 the first time ever on a track...and on that slippery *** track...****ing amazing. Still the fastest car I've ever been in. It gave me chills hearing it roaring down South Congress Friday and Saturday night. Thanks for coming back to Texas...I hope you'll be back in Austin for the Lonestar Roundup...we'll run it wide open. -Brian Oh yeah...Crow...those pictures rock.
Jimmy, it was nice to meet ya and shoot the **** with ya. Keep me posted on your fuel injection venture. See ya next year, you'll be back. Once bitten...you can't miss it the next year.
How in the hell did I forget this? Too bad I missed it. Did I read that right? Did Jimmy White drive that coupe from Orange to Austin?
Crow, Whose tall T is that in the picture? Great pictures too, I think I have just got my new goal to have my newest project done for, and cross country trip.
That is the one and only Mercury Charlie, my hero. Startin a new thread with Continental pics so we can stop hijackin this un.
Jimmy, I didn't get a chance to meet you. Each time I saw you you were in the middle of a conversation. Thanks for coming down to our little event. One of the best compliments we can have is to hear good things from the long distantant travelers....even after the grueling trip back.
Good to meet you Jimmy! I'm glad you and the guys had a good time- sounds like you'll be back for the Round-up. Your cars are awesome, I envy your skill with metal.
We never met but I'm glad you came. Hearing your A in person was a treat. I noticed you guys had front row seats for the Burlesque show. Looked like you enjoyed a couple of the ladies. I parked next to your A on Sat night just hoping some of the cool would rub off, I guess it didn't. Maybe on my next trip to CA I should stop by and say HI. TZ
