Thoughts go out to all family and friends. Hate to see em go like this. The big guy is amassing one heck of an all-star team up there.
To live the dream is something that most of us will never get to do. It is better to live it and ride it out, than to sit by and let it ride by. A true loss and tragity. Condolences to the family and all who were graced by Scotts presence in their lives.
Man, what is happening in 2008??? We have lost way too many good people this year already............R.I.P. Scott
The Kalitta name has been associated with drag racing for almost as long as I can remember. Prayers of comfort for the family and friends. What a huge loss for them as well as the entire racing community.
My condolences to the Kalitta family and to Scott, may you rest in peace. I didn't know you personally but I watched your career develop into the champion you are and always will be. Truly a sad situation in the drag racing community.
Godspeed Scott. I'm shocked, headed out to the garage to weld some and clear my head,Its not working.I'll withhold my comments on the accident till I've had some time to digest this terrible news.
Sad indeed. Prayers for the Kalitta family. The shutdown area of E-town needs to be revamped. Proven by what happened today.

Being a Drag Racing fan, I was shocked and saddened by this terrible news. It seems like just yesterday when he first started to shoe a racecar. My God bless him and his family... Joel
