I wish you fellas were closer......it's been pretty rainy for the cruise nights of late but I am getting out to make some noise and kill a few bugs...rolling bricks do that don'tcha know... ...A couple hours of cruising in the near summer warmth that day......I just wait a day or two and I brush them off with a plastic wisk... Sorry bugs...mind you many are mosquitoes...yay!!! Funny that day I went to the cruise I had an unusual Bee experience...I was doing around 55mph and one came through the windshield and ended up hovering near the glovebox and I was getting a little worried about his next move......but then just as I'm watching it was like it was all of a sudden sucked right out the passenger window Yay!!!...back to the cruising...the bugs coming through the windshield usually end up knocked out or dead on the carpet under the dash...
See Ya at Merrickville on Sunday @Ziggster...I'll be a passenger this time for a moment...we can pop out for a short ride and come back in again...the few I've let pilot this thing did kinda get a thrill out of it...I still do myself... Since you had a Thread on Mopars...here's a local one I'm familiar with...we were at a show in Westport last Saturday... I made it look like I was working on the Jalopy...changing out the big ole lights...pondering cycle fronts and tightening some loosened rivets...it was an alright show...the arena part was dreamed up by one of the organizers...like the old days kinda...
That looks like a great event, it is about 700 clicks for me, and on the wrong side of Toronto. Hopefully you will treat us to some pictures.
Merrickville was a mix of overcast, sorta hot, some rain and then very muggy and hot...turnout was good...Hamb friendly... some...the way I look at it these days, if there's a few Hamb Friendly's I'm happy...I wasn't disappointed...it's nice to see some and meet some Hambers...okay shutup Stogy and post some pics eh!...
Ziggster went for a ride in the old Hotrod...I offered him to pilot but he declined...maybe next time...he did buy me my lunch which was very kind of him...we also walked around and took in the show meeting some Hambers and even a Metalsmith/Shaper that had and continues to do the walk... at very high bar indeed...preferring a Picolo over a Wheel... Hambers present were @screwball and @mgermca...Fred with the T Roadster Pickup, me and Ziggster. Mgermca friends present were no doubt may be Hambers... Stogy spent most of his time blah blah blahing...but these images were some of what caught my eye...there was more...next weekend...this show... And...
