Just wanted to thank the folks that came out to eat breakfast tacos with the Barons Sunday morning. The weather was horrible, I almost didn't even go down myself. Got down there and a few diehard folks started tricklin in. Made me proud to be a hot rod Texan. I got to meet a few new folks, learned some stuff from a grey beard and ate some really good grub. That, in the end, is what it's all about. I especially want to thank Mr and Mrs Fatluckys for makin the long haul down from Austin.

We'll be doin the shindig again next month, but the time and location are yet to be determined. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate with us. We're planning on doing it a little later and most likely toward Austin. If any of you guys have some suggestions let us know. Maybe in the basement of the Alamo? [IMG]

    Thanks,
    The Barons

  3. It was a good start to what will hopefully be somewhat of a "habit". I know!....we can have the next one at your house, Crease, and your lovely wife can make the tacos and fresh squeezed orange juice! [IMG]

There's a hole-in-the-wall place just off the square in San Marcos called the "WesRay Cafe" (or something thereabouts) that has $1.99 all-you-can-eat pancakes. (It was $.99 but the bastards raised it a couple years back...) Pretty good stuff!

A little later would make it work. S.A. is fine, or the place in San Marcos. Either way, if we don't have to get up at 6 a.m., there's a very good chance we'll be there.

Later would be nice, but I got up after 8 and I made the trip. I'd like to thank the Barons for showing up (and Crease especially, for buying the tacos.) On the drive down in the shitty weather I kinda thought Mrs. fatluckys and I would be the only people there.

Yeah it was hard for me to get my butt out of bed that early, even with the chilly quillys and hot rods beckoning. Im thinkin we push it back an hour or so and it will make it easier on everybody, especially the Austin and hill country guys.

You'll have to head out next month EFC. I'm looking forward to meeting you in person finally.

I'll be posting some details on next months shindig pretty soon.

    Thanks for the support guys!

I still had fun even if there was only a few of us that made it out there. Fatlucky, that money is burning a hole in my pocket. Right now I just sit in my car and just pretend that I have an interior, but it's kinda hard. Those old cushions are kinda itchy while I hang out nakid outside at night all by myself
