Do you think this is NPT fitting? Or is this a flair fitting? Trying to run an AN fitting out of this.

 

I would guess NPT and the photo taken with a potato.

 

Pic is not that clear however it appears to be female npt. Take a caliper and set it to the deepest point of threads. If that is smaller than the opening it’s npt.

 

I had one like that years ago, it was NPT.

 

It would be pretty cheap to just buy an NPT fitting and check the fit.

 

Grab a 1/4 (maybe 3/8) NPT fitting and see if it screws in.
