Wow, the Lonestar Roundup was just awesome. The amount of talent, time, & dedication it takes to pull the Roundup off must be staggering. Thank you! This year was my 1st LSRU, but I will be damned if I miss another one! Next year will be a whole weekend event for me instead of just Saturday, thats for sure. Got to meet several HAMB'rs- hung out w/ JeepersCreepers for a while on Sat night watching the insanity on Congress, got my wheels relayed all the way from Cali by OGNC, talked to Texas********, El Polako, Fidgiter (whose better half warned me to stay away from bobbleed & Tuck unless I wanted to be arrested!), kustomscaraudio, & several others I'm sure I missed. Saw a huge amount of HAMB member cars- now I know why this event is refered to as a HAMB meet-n-greet! Maybe next year I won't be so chicken-**** & actually talk to more of y'all. The show itself was great. Lots of cars, good music, & friendly folk. People were very considerate to others taking pics & would regularly stop so you could get your shot. There were a few cars that were "out of place", but thats to be expected. Parking was great if you weren't cheap & paid the $5 to park in the baseball field! They even allowed you to leave & come back as long as you had your ticket stub. Congress on Sat night was wild- & I left just after 11pm!!! I've never had a better time just standing watching cars go back & forth. Bottom line- this thing is not as good as everyone plays it up to be- its waaaay the Hell better. Sell your sperm if you have to in order to raise the money to get there next year. You won't be disappointed.
LOL- not unless one of them is a really beautiful little gal....... I actually was trying to find ThunderRocket & asked Fidgiter if that was his HAMB name. We talked for a minute & she gave me the warning. Hey ThunderRocket- I saw your car, but not you. Oh well. maybe next time you're down at the coast!
I totally agree with you 46stude! I have been to every Round Up and the Kont's always seem to step it up each year. I wish I could have met more HAMBers but with the size of the event and the crowds it was a little difficult since there wasn't a designated spot to meet.
Had a blast, every HAMBer I hung out with was cool as hell. Sell sperm? ****, I've just been givin' it away!
Absolutely! I kept an eye peeled for the CowStude hat, but there were a million peeps there. TX******** parked next to me off Congress but I never saw him either. I dig the b*** boat lid on that 54.
HAHA, I just STROLL across this post and people are talking about me. Yeah, I didn't get a chance to meet or hang out with a whole lot of HAMBers. Friday night was fun, but was cut short for me. Saturday was a blur, and Saturday night I was tired, hungry, and drained so my night wasn't very eventful. I wish someone got some pics of my car at the show...I left Corpus in such a hurry I left my camera.
I agree too! Thank you to all those involved in making this a great weekend! Congress was wild, the show kicked ***, music was great, the people were awesome... This was my first Roundup and it certainly won't be my last. Thanks everyone!

Sure thing... I'm sorry. I really feel bad for saying that. I should have said something like "congrats on the confusion, Fidgiter"! LOL- I guess that comment means I need to apologize to Mel again......
