It’s a lovely car as well, but I don’t think the lines are as cohesive… More details:

  6. I saw the name and the pics and thought “hey! I think I saw that at the Peterson last time I was there?!” Then I kept reading. She’s a beaut! Nice to have the whole story!

Breathtaking indeed. It kind of reminds me of a Shelby Cobra Daytona coupe, but much more elegant. It may not be as aerodynamic with the rounded tail, but it's prettier than the Kammback on the Daytona. Blows me away that it was home-built.

The Bosley GT and Kellison coupes just flow so damn well in my eyes. Absolute beauties.

Looks like a '50 Ford backlight for a windshield. Tempered glass for a w/s is illegal for good reason ...

I remember seeing it in a 1953 issue of Hot Rod when I was a lot younger.

    The Kelison coupes were magic.

I think he used an early 50’s Ferrari 195 for most of his body line inspiration…

    Thank You Ryan.
Wonderful creation, race worthy or not.
If it was in my garage, that is where I'd be trying to sleep.

I mean, I love early Ferraris… Always have… But to be perfectly honest, I actually think I like the lines of the Bosley more than the 195. It just has more sex appeal.

great looking car. Wonder what he went on to do in life? Great design beautiful lines. The Chrysler was a heavy slug for that type of car. The dual overhead cam engines in Europe were so much better, lightweight, way more RPM's.
Love the scoop, reminds me of the newer Pro Stock air intakes. You certainly come up with very cool things on this site. Thanks

I agree. What a neat car and certainly detailed at a professional level. Even the gauges are marked with his name.

I think this car would have done well at Bonneville vs. a twisty track. I'd imagine that nose heavy Hemi didn't help with handling.

It is amazing what humans can do once they put their mind to something. Thanks for sharing.

I love hot rods and have always favored customs. I admired, but never been a big fan of sports cars.
BUT, this beauty hits all the right buttons for me!

Wow! I love everything about it! Even the interior is elegant and gives a feel of a great GT car.
