I remember the model kit of this one in stores back in the early '70s....

 

Back side of my 1970. 454, 390 horse. I believe it was a 3:23 rear end. Wide ratio 4 speed. No air or power steering. Hooker side pipes. Girl is my buddie's sister.
110 mph in third.
First date with my wife we drove from Lafayette Indiana to Dayton, Ohio.
I had worked a 14 hour shift so she was driving for a bit. I woke up and the speedo was reading 125.
That was 52 years ago. Still married to her!
Got a 1990 Corvette now .
