The car was incredible, my favorite Vette at the show, absolutely love the color. The owner was a really nice guy and happy to share the details of the build and restoration. Also had a 57 driver quality car for a fun driver.

  11. My 68. I bought it as a non runner for $800. Fixed trailing arm spindle bearing, brakes, new top, side pipes and a $300 paint job. Drove for two years. Sold it to pay for my senior year of college. Think I got $3,450 for it. Big money in 1975. 68 Corvette.jpeg

  15. Poser. I bought a 427 hood for $20 from a friend prior to painting the car. Actually a 327-300. Good old days.

No pictures, but I've owned a '67 roadster, a '72 coupe, and a '63 coupe that was automatic PS, PB and PW. My grandson just sent me video last night of the 2025 ZR1 with 1064 hp. They've come a long way since '53.

That’s a pic in the UK. TVR behind it, used to have one of them. John Woolfe Racing is still going I bought a gasket set for my FE from them last week. John Woolfe himself was killed at Le Mans in 1969 when he crashed his 917. He was thrown out of the car as he hadn’t done his seat belts up. It was the final nail in the coffin for the traditional Le Mans start.

They also had the ex Scarab, Cobra transporter at one point, they were one of the pioneers of drag racing here

We have very little history on it; it was originally from either Tennessee or Mississippi. If you recognize it or know anything about it, please let me know!
