I was not able to attend this years Lone Star Round Up. I was however able to attend this show and glad that I did. As you can see from these great photos taken by this kind gentleman there were some very fine cars. Thank you for your coverage of the show and your contribution to the art of automobiles.
“…Regardless, I still like em. Maybe you will too? Enjoy…” Hello, This is one set of great photos with emphasis!!! I normally do not like the 32 model hot rods, but in the set of photos, these two sedans make the series outstanding. The 32 was a one year blast. The Model A versions had a nice style and small front grille to match. Then all of a sudden a large blockade of a wind screen pops up and we all had the 32 look. Even the Model A roadsters, coupes and sedans with 32 grille shells seem out of place. As it was, the pedestal label given to the 32 models was so great that when we were looking for a hot rod coupe or sedan, the 32 models were priced out of our pocketbook. Even when some money was coming into our accounts, it was just not enough to purchase what we wanted in a hot rod model. A 1932 sedan delivery was one that we searched for and found some with a higher than normal cost attached to each project. Then, other models caught our attention and we moved on to that phase. Two of the best out of the bunch. They are just are two cool looking 1932 hot rod sedans. Not making a statement other than, “… Look at us, we are in some awful approaching weather, but still attending this event…” Yes, good for them. Jnaki The photography hits the feel of the event and the old hot rods. They are not posed with other cars, it is a very detailed background and they just look cool. I am partial to sedans and these two make my day, even being 1932 sedans. It is the “look” that says… cool. YRMV
