Everything has been going good on the truck lately and then I notice 2 freeze plugs on drivers side leaking. I have the expanding type coming from hot Hemi heads. Are there any on the back of the engine? Please say no. Thanks in advance

  2. There are 4 core plugs in the back of the block. But they are threaded square drive plugs. You should be fine. Never heard of those rotting out.

Nailhead Jason. Whew!! I am going to replace the 6 on the sides of the block but was praying I wouldn’t have to pull the engine to do the ones in the back by the bell housing. Thank you

I remember on my 354 going up a grade and wondering why the water temp was so low. Looked in the mirror and saw a cloud following me (steam). I guess the sensor didn't pick up air as well as water.
