The gl*** body has a lot of advantages--just make a saber saw cut and pop it around a suitable tree...
Plus, if you have a big, fierce dog, you can chain it there and let it feed on the lucky finders...no more expensive dogfood!

Well, now that some of you think I have only "one ore in the water" I will let you in on a idea I had for the "Decoy". At one time I thought it would be cool to knock out the rivets on the front cross member roll the frame around a tree and re ***emble the car around the tree, the rockers need work anyway and the center K member was taken out for another car, this could be done. yeah I know, "this guy is sick" But could you imagine the great stories and pictures that would filter around the state ?

This reminds me of the junkyard in Newaygo that my dad keeps talking about but I don't think I'll ever find. He pulled up one day, years ago, and out front there's a '41 Tudor with a tree growing through the engine compartment. He tells the guy that he's looking for parts for a '65 Malibu, to which the guy responds he hasn't got anything that new! Now dad is really into older stuff too, so he asks if he can just maybe take a look around, and the guy flatly refuses. :(

I figure if I ever find the place I'll tell him I'm looking for parts for a '35 Terraplane.

That's great!! I've got a story that's almost as good... I was playing in a band at a Rockfest a couple of years ago in upper Wisconsin...we camped out there for the whole weekend, along with abot 3,000 other crazies...anyway, me and our soundman are walking around the makeshift campground on the Saturday of that weekend, scouting for chics, seeing what was going on, etc....when our soundman sees a crisp $20 bill layin' on the ground. He bends over and picks it up, and the second he does this, he is jerked and yanked about 10 feet to his right....It seems that there was a fishing hook and line attached to the bill, and when he picked it up, the dude sleeping in the lawn chair over to the right felt his fishing pole move, woke up and started reeling in his catch..... I don't think I ever laughed so hard in my life!

Obviously the chumps that "bite" on yer decoy must have been from Ontario or Wisconsin. Everybody knows that northern Michiganders (UPers) are smarter than that. :D

  14. Thats like the business cards one shop here had. At a car show something like 20 years ago one guy's kids were leaving them on the ground here and there. Why? They looked like a $50 bill folded twice. Except you open it and it only unfolds once, and the inside is an ad for the body shop. It fooled quite a few people, even though once you looked at it good you could see it wasnt that close to real.
