Mother Mary what a story! You are an inspirational thrashing madman! With a bitching taste in hot rods. Congratulations!
Having seen the rebuild photos he posted on ig this morning I’m even more in awe. Simply amazing. looking forward to him posting them here with some additional notes like he did with the finished product. Gonna be a lot of us cheering you on as you make your way west this year
To put it in a word...tenacity! So glad to hear of your comeback. Your coupe looks great! Wishing you all the best!
Just read through all of this thread, amazing build such craftsmanship. Gutted about the crash but glad you walked away to tell the story and fact your rebuilding it sweetens it all the more. Speedy recovery though dude keep up the good fight. Best wishes Chalkie
A small update on the pale rider! ive been running the wheels off the thing lately. it took a few steering adjustments, but other than that.... she was perfect right out of the box.. as usual! She is ready for the trip to Bonneville this year. We have a small group of us that are traveling up from North Carolina. Really looking forward to catching up with the guys! here is just a few photos of the car from the travels lately.... oh yea i almost forgot........ Just so were clear.. this is Ben Haags fucking car!! thanks guys
Thanks not giving up on Pale Rider. It’s a very inspiring ride. Is the hood stretched? If so, how much?
Outstanding! This story should be a major motion picture. I wish every tragedy ended like this. Keep on Rock'in! Sent from my Pixel 3a XL using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Wow, two moments in this thread when I didn't hardly believe my eyes. First the wreck, and then the rebuild with you in the snow. Two comments above nailed it for me. One is the word tenacity and the other is to keep up the good fight. I guess the third word used by others is inspiring. Definitely feel that by reading through here. Would be great to see any more pictures of your trip out west and other pictures of the car out and about. Thanks for all that you've told us about this car and the process.
