Great progress, I look forward to seeing it rolling with the SoWhat crew.... Daytona Fl for Thanksgiving??????

  4. Cool man.

Looks like it's gonna sit just right. But I would expect no less from Clark and the crew.

Now.... tell me about the 56or57 Vette in the backround. Call ME gay, but that is my dream car.

    Roadstar is gay!........you asked :D

The Corvette is Glasshole's dad's car. I get to paint it shortly (lucky me) It's gonna be dark maroon with silver insets. I'm tryin to talk him into off white or cream insets. It's gonna have Torque thrusts.

Matt (That Guy) is working his ass off. The kid just turned 21 and instead of spending every night in the bar he's in the garage every night.

For now they are just concentrating on getting the car on the road. A chop and other mods will come later.

Jeffey...you forgot pics of Bill's car. these guys are kicking ass on two cars. Bill is working on a 34 Chevy 3 window that will be "CANS"

BTW...that fancy front suspension was already in the car when he got it. He got a good deal on a project that the guy lost interest in.

What is that front suspension? Looks like Mustang II with rack in front but control arms look like Camaro.

As a side note. Do you have any experience with tubular control arms for camaro front ends? I've been thinking of getting them once I get my truck on the road.

I've seen those mounts before on a 34 frame but don't know what else they have for it.

FordF1....that's some fancy aftermarket mustangII front suspension. As far as tubular A arms, I've never fooled with them. One of the guys built narrowed ones for his Camaro clip under his 48.

Thanks for the reply. I have a Mustang II front end in my Model A made from TCI (Total Cost Involved) and it looks a lot different than that. The TCI front end has offset mounts for the control arms so you don't have to cut the fender and the rack is in the back so it's not visible.

For my Camaro front end I'm going to narrow it 4 inches so I don't have to get narrowed control arms and can fit a decent tire under it.

Yeah it is a Flaming River rack on mine.

I was going to mention something about the car in the background. 54 Vette?

Yeh I forgot to mention the 56 Corvette is givving a lot of parts up to Bill's coupe. Motor, Tranny and all the cool stuff on the motor are from the Vette. He even used the motor mounts. The steering wheel and a few other odd and ends are gonna be used from the Vette.

Ain't it great to have a Corvette as a parts car!! :D
