    Looking good Jim. I was there when we chopped it at Mark's. I still can't believe how open you were to letting me (and others) cut and weld on your car when you never met me before. You told me that day that you were going to add the fadeaways, and they look goooood. Nice work.

    Speakin' of the "fade-a-ways" on this Caddie.........

    Were these from the "trad." source i.e. OEM Buick '42-'48?
    or did ya fab 'un?
    This looks like another "landmark" kustom in the makin'!

    the door pieces came from a buick,,the piece from the rear of the door to the quarter is a reshaped fender piece from a 48 olds...the transition piece from the front fender to the door piece was fabbed,,

    Good progress man, looking fine. Ain't tryin to be no smart***, but I was starring at that side shot, and that bottom door corner looks like the only square corner on the whole car. And its probly non a my bisness either.

    I saw a Roadmaster door skin on Egay, never knew they were one piece top to bottom.

    you are right about that being the only square corner on the car...i will be rounding that later at some point, because it really bothers me too,,,(you have a good eye).,...right now im basically bustin *** trying to get the car in one color sealer for the summer...when i prep the car for rreal paint this winter, i will take care of it then

    good choice i think a dark blue would grive it a early 50,s late 40,s look everyone has one thing that people remenber them and this caddy is yours hope to see you at lead east teddyp:cool:
