Just put the grill on that I got from Kustom777 last year. The 51 Ford has been neglected since I got the Olds. She's smiling now.
It looks great! I am shopping for some chrome for my 51 Poncho. I haven't foiund a good source yet. Justice
Is that a '54 Chev grille bar? Do they hve to be cut/modified to fit the width on a '51 Ford? I am trying to think of a nice swap for my '51, that doesn't require a Ton of work. (a little is OK) TDC
I trimmed a little on the inside of the parking light housing, not much. Took about 1 1/2 hours total (including stopping and BS'ing with the neighbors) I have an extra set of parking light housings and grill bar if you're interested or you can find them on ebay. Do you guys think it needs more teeth???? i have a total of 13 but only used 7
That looks good the way it is. My brother-in-law needs some teeth for his 54. PM me if you are interested in selling some. Thanks, Neal
2 more teeth would be perfect in my opinion. But then, I am from Florida, so my opinion should be taken with a grain of salt (if not ignored completely).

[/ QUOTE ] After looking again, I would have to agree with two more teeth. The spacing between the parking lamp, the first tooth and the second tooth looks greater than the spacing on the other teeth. So add two, then sell the others to my brother in law Neal
i like it the way it is. a whole lot more teeth will make it look croweded and like every gold chainer and shoves as many as they can on the bar. i think that the spacing on the ends looks good and excentuates--yeah i know i spelt it wrong right-- the teeth, kinda sorta like a shoebox grill has the bullet in the middle of the bar if you must add more i spose one more on each end would still look fine. just think the spaces make it look classy lol
I LOVE it. Looks great. The amount of teeth is perfect too, they just need to be spaced alittle more evenly.
