Awesum Mopar!! Makes the hair on the back of my neck raise. Still have my 65 Dodge W51 A990 Hemi car, last raced Labor Day weekend 74 at Polar Drag Way, Palmer Alaska. Won cl*** and Stock Elim that day. Gonna put it back to "as raced" one of these days. The way she looked that day and still looks today.
My Dart might get an 11.30 on a track with a lot of "bite".I am gunna try and make it to the Tulsa deal next year.So far the best bite for my Dodge has been at Ardmore .I hope to see you at the "Thaw" in Feb. as i have yet to meet you face to face ...
Thanks Doug, yeah it gets my attention for sure .. I'm going to try a few more little changes and see if it picks up more I currently don't have a comp lics so I will have to stick to 1/8 mile tracks Because 10.0 is the point where the safety rules increase
Great car, and great ET to boot! I've had a range of OT cars that have run anywhere from 10.00 to 9.40 on drag radials and 28x10.5 slicks, but nothing pre-1964. I hope to build an older 10.doh motor car (pump gas) sometime in the next two years.
Im going to have to keep up with what is happening at Tulsa ,since I've relocated here for work. Dont know anyone here in the race and car scene yet. Nice car and good luck.
Uh no problem Dude, glad to be of service. Real glad you got it all figured out. Uh maybe next time I'll respond in a timely manner !
that car is kick ***.. been a fan of mopars for a long long time. keep on m***hin the go pedal, and enjoy life one run at a time that make camera that can go on your helmet for like 200.00 now that are high quality, you would probably get a kick out of watching that maybe even improve your driving not that its needed.. chris.
Very nice car and even more impressive performance. running high 9's with all steel and gl*** windows car at 3700 lbs all motor is a great accomplishment.
Great looking Mopar, I love the 2 door post cars. I kinda miss my '70 Cuda that had a B-1 headed 470 cubic inch low deck (400) based stroker in it. It consistently ran 5.90s - 6.0s 1/8th on the motor. All my Chevy buddies swore it had to be at least a 572 inch motor.
