The heck with wheelstanders. I like it when they do bunny hops.

  2. O/T Noel Inman's Centre-door '22 T. Sweet 302 wheelies. O/T, but Jag rears are cute under full load in a 10second street centre-door. Youtube search will bring it.

I saw that before it went away! Good to see an irs hook like that. There is a way to do that, using instant-centre theory etc., so that the rear will always hook at the same amount of suspension travel. It involves tilting the irs up in front slightly. The trick is to set the rear up so that camber is 0° at exactly that travel.

That said I'm a bit wary of irs behind a front beam axle. I'm not sure I like having better camber recovery at the front than the rear, though bigger bigs and littler littles surely help.

  4. Hey Dawie, he does fine 60' carries at will. It's a blast to see, ol' Noel sittin' in the middle of an ocean of windows & red velour, on two wheels, haulin' arse. Those lil' unis puttin' on a show.
I get what you say re recovery, I think.. Inman has been floggin' that centredoor for many years on the strips. The angles look good when you nose around it. And the air-con 302 is amusing. It's a lovely old mini-flake candy red over black too. Smile maker. It's my default wheelie memory spike.
