These were on display at the Romin Cariots car ckub show in Blue Island ILon 9/28. You missed one .

working on resurrecting this one:
Mark Wendt 392 hemi powered, i bought the body off Marketplace, starting collect all the correct parts for it, if anyone recogonizes it or has any more pics let me know. the car was raced at Great Lakes Dragoway (Union Grove WI) late 60s early 70s

I ran across this the other day, I hadn’t seen it before. Hope it wasn’t already posted.

 

Starting a restoration on this one. I have a build thread running on it. I haven't been able to find any history on it.

I ran across this picture of Sheldon Schmitt’s (?) famous cover car actually making a pass. All these years I thought it was just a show car.

 

I think it had a very short life. Got wadded up pretty quickly, if I remember correctly. One of my favorites.

 

Finger Lakes region, between Syracuse and Binghamton. The car came out of the Oneonta area.
