Foothill Speed Center’s Monkey Motion, near lane, is up against the Geary & Walker fuel altered. Those guys couldn’t decide who should get top billing so the other side of the car was lettered Walker & Geary.

 

What time frame where they running cars like this?
Any articles on builds of cars like these?
I need some inspiration for my build.

 

This the car type I'm asking about.

 

I’d guess the Hyder car was built around 1960, I’ve seen early photos of the car with a Scott Slot injector on the 6-71 and later it had a Hilborn 4 port that I think came out in 1962.

 

i sure wouldn't have a grumpy expression if i was in that seat--maybe scared but....

 

I'd call it focused.

 

I imagine that this one was one of the squirrelliest!

 

I wonder if the door opens on just one hinge?

James that car only ran 3 seasons then was sold and got stolen after that this pic was the last version that hyder was involved with to my knowledge 60-63 was the time frame as far as I have found I’ve seen pics of it with a Scott slot injector a hilborn e type a four port as seen in the pic and also a two port hilborn as well back then things changed so fast it’s hard to keep up if anyone has a pic of the inside of this car I sure would like to see how it compares to cars like 554 coupe or 15oz car
