I am in no position for class and history and hope not to be flamed for the obvious name which would be guessing at the clarity shown but in a less pixilated version of the same pic it says Wilson's Auto Salvage. Hope that helps.
I wasn't ragging on Rooman, Just the opposite. I was giving him credit for partially identifying Pure Heaven III. That's why I said that I wanted to give him credit where it was due. Don't get me involved in this mess.

Once you start chasing these cars,tracking them down,and realize that lots of them were cut up and scrapped in the 70’s,or survived all the way to the 80’s/90’s only to be made into “street rods”,it kinda stings sometimes,doesn’t it? The “Gunfighter” 57 Ford was always one of my favorites that ended up that way.Body was sold,then some kids made a dune buggy out of the chassis,was the story I got. Scott, I can't help with history on the car prior to Jerry and Red acquiring it. I know that when Jerry built his SOHC powered modified roadster, a couple of guys in the Road Runners bought the ex coupe, and ran it at El Mirage for a season, or two. I don't know what became of it after that.

Regarding the "Wood Butchers" car. I'm sure I have seen it in an older magazine. If a guy could find the article, it might give a bit more info. I Googled 'Terra in Whittier, CA'. Terra Paving was founded in 1984. The Terra Recycling Center had no information either. Sounds like the coupe was recycled into a roadster. Maybe the 'shape of things to come'.
From loudbangs post above - Don't recognize the track, but the car is/was Mike Sullivan's. Steve Haight drove it. One of the best designed Fiats out there. Orange County Raceway (SoCal) was their home track. Mike

Looks like the body is fresh out of the mold in that picture,too. Looks to be either raw resin or primer on the leading edge of the body/wheel openings. I don't know the car, but the picture was taken at the Oklahoma City fairgrounds dragstrip. I recognize the speedway grandstand and the bandshell in the background.

Here's the skinny on the Wood Butchers 5 window. Built (?) owned by Gerald Tucker of Whittier, ran B/fuel Altered at AHRA drags, 11.32 @ 125.76. At Bonneville ran 169.81 mph. Ran B/C in NHRA. Hilborn injected alky/nitro, 51 hemi,Jahns Pistons 11 to 1 compression, Clay Smith cam. Weber flywheel and Schiefer Clutch, 39 Zephyr trans with a Halibrand quick change. Color was bright red. POPROD August 1964
Aside from the rear hairpin / ladder bar looking a little spindly, I'd guess he got the instant center close to perfect.
