Thanks, I guess you can tell some of 'em are really old. I have more...if I can just remember where I put them.lol The blue '50 Merc with the vinyl top was an original Monterey that my pal found abandoned in a North Carolina cow pasture. He built a really nice mild kustom from humble beginnings and drove it everwhere for several years. Sadly, it and several other nice cars were destroyed in a garage fire that was caused by a lightning strike.

Beautiful cars here, I'd be proud to own any of them.

My 53 Customline with late model running gear, Jamco front and rear suspension, custom dash and interior panels and much more work to be done. New paint coming in about a month. This is a great driver!

I had to make a double-take at this one. It's got a very subtle chop! Couldn't be more than 2-3 inches. In my mind, this is the quientessential mild custom: when you gotta ask "it looks great, but what did they do to it?"

  14. Here is my 1961 Fairlane, Lowered, Shaved, and Flamed...can you see them? When I bought the car it has 17" polished Billet Cragars, Now it has 15" Americans...can't make up my mind!!! what do you think?

Great photos coming in of all the cars!

I agree, it doesn't look chopped. It's a really clean custom, and you can never go wrong with burgundy on a ford or merc.

Thanks. Here's the rear view. For more detail about the car, see the thread titled "Hoo F***ing Ray!"

The '52 wagon in the background belongs to Gary Minor, who did the bodywork on the '56.

I thought that house looked familiar, he was working on your 56 when we stopped there last spring on our way to Santa Maria.

I love the way it turned out, the GTO hood scoop is cool.

50fraud, that's the most tasteful 55 Ford I've ever seen in my 50 years of intense custom car experience (even if your wheels were dissed by someone who has green wheels!).

I believe it's a HAMBers car. I fell in love with this at first sight. Not even sure to call it a Kustom. Simply restored with a mild drop and some wires. Sweet combo.
