Customs The art of the mild custom

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by G V Gordon, May 4, 2009.

  1. I like to see a car with a chopped top. I hate sitting on the floor though, fighting to see through the steering wheel.having the bottom of the window level with your chin. I have built and driven customs since the late 50's. a few radical cars, mostly mild versions.Even a Plexi bubble top. But my first chopped car was my last. The mild custom to me is the way to go if you want an actual driver,or are only 5 ft tall.

  2. Great looking '56 Vicky. Looks trick with the subtle changes and making you do a double take with the '55 grille and park lights.
The '56 lower roofline really cleans it up, plus you have the luxury of the T'bird gauge cluster. Merc tail lights fit nicely.

Granted I know this is usually not the place for them, I was just wondering if someone had seen any, whether here or someplace else.
