Great now I need a Whitney .22 LR 1950s hand gun that up until seeing this advertisement I didn't even know existed. I am not even a big firearms guy but that gun is awesome looking.
I was a kid in the 50's and 60's, and I love this stuff! A great thread, and thanks. Check out the { Vintage space and Back to the future } thread also. More stuff like this there too. I grew up in the best of times.
Gotta say, one of my favorite eras, from the house designs to the furniture, toys, cars/etc; all looked to a better brighter future w/Hope & what Could-Be. Guess that all went to Hell in the Handbasket - considering just where we are societally now. ;( . (no, I haven't forgotten the Red Scare[proven correct], or the Bomb-Threat[duck & cover - what********* for a trusting populace], but still...). At least looking back thru this gives a temporary good feeling & smiles... Marcus...
