  8. Now I was just blown away watching this build on here, and then to see the publicity...its like...wow, .....but to read the 'description' on the auction.....that is just hilarious.

Plowboy, you need to make your job way easier and find one of them super rare Pontiacs like that other guy next time. Save yourself all the design, hard work and cash and make way more $ too. Stop working so hard to make such a cool car and just go out and find an old junk race car about ready to visit the crusher and put it up on ebay. Look, that guys got $25K on you and he never even lifted a finger to dust it off. Pretty sad really that your car is sitting at $60K, meanwhile fat wallets are probably busy calling up hit men on each other over the Pontiac. A 60's Pontiac? Your car is way, way better in my opinion and is an honest work of art verse some has been corporate play toy with one foot in the grave. The Pontiac is pretty cool for what it is, don't get me wrong, but honestly, big deal, its just a Pontiac. And I had a real 455 Pontiac T/A, so I do have some affection for decent Pontiac muscle. That car is 1 of 2. Yours is 1 of 1 and is in great shape, not a pile of **** still in need of another $200K worth of work. Good luck with the auction.

Holy ****per! One of the few (if any) radical custom creations that absolutely IS. I mean, this crazy mo-chine IS something totally original, IS totally fitting of the days when these were done, and IS honestly beautiful. And that is BIG beans when one considers you made it nowadays, Plowboy!!! I was so proud of you to see your Atomic Punk on/in Rod & Custom. I mean no disrespect to the man Ed Roth...I really don't...but I dare say your cars are better than the ones he created.

****, you're selling it too! How come I'm not rich?! Someone will end with a cool wacky car!

sorry guys. We shouldn't be deleting these.

  20. What amuses me is the body was built basically from castoff junk and imagination, if you had all the same pieces in a pile and said you were going to build a body from them, you'd get all kinds of **** from people - same as when I scare up a rusty hulk and list it for sale. Don't get me wrong, I'm not putting that car down one bit - it's just funny to me how some guys can see the end result in the starting pieces, and some just don't get it until you roll it out in fresh candy paint. Then they throw money at it.

Then again, if everyone could build like Plowboy, these cars wouldn't be as cool.

For the next project may I suggest turning a '61 Chrysler into a roadster?

Looks like people are entering really high bids to see what the reserve is then retracting them!!

Yeah, "Entered wrong amount", 'Sorry, just kept hitting the "6" key by accident then hit the bid and then hit the confirm ****on, 'by accident'. Why does ebay still allow these kind of games from people? Jack***es.

If had the money to spare, this would definitely be on my early Christmas present to myself list. So far, not much on that list this year. :(

This would be a better investment than the stock market. Drive it around a couple years have fun at cars shows, store it a way for 5 years and like Larry Parker would do for you as your lawyer in a slip and fall accident...BAM!!! $10.2 million!

Let's see...365 HAMB members at $410.96 each, that'd give PlowBoy $150,000.40 and the 365 Atomic Punk members could drive it 1 day for the year...Should I start a separate thread for memberships?

    Hey Plowboy,
I don't know you & I'm new around here, but I just had to say that the Atomic Punk is just flat out one of the koolest cars in automotive history,up there with the Outlaw & the Bandit. If I could drive it would be coming to me in England, whatever the cost.
    Good luck

Man..dont put that on e-gay..your work is much better than that flea bag seller site..too many bad vibes from e-bag..

call up B.J. and get what you should for that car..and not to mention it would be great press for you..if you dont hit your reserve...take a shot at it.
