Considering that several thousand people inhabit the HAMB, there doesn't seem to be much bidding going on over on the Auction page. As usual, the names of the people actually bidding are the same names we see all the time. What the hell are the rest of you waiting for? I realize that a percentage of the members may not be able to afford the auctions, but most of you could scrape up $5 or $10 and either mail it, or PayPal it. If nothing else, put something up for Auction. From what I understand, Sean had no Insurance at all. Thats not surprising considering he was a small business owner trying to get something off the ground. Doesn't make a damned bit of difference whether you knew him or not, Just remember that the HAMB would probably be doing this for your family if the situation was reversed...
Thanks guys, Being that Sean has now passed, the fund raising efforts will turn towards his memorial. We WILL keep the financial burden off of Shana and really need some help. Please do what you can. Thank you all, RASHY
There's a shift knob down there with no bids yet. Its not much, but I don't have any loot to send right now. Curious Rash, Oh man, I just got done reading your post about how his dental work would be taken care of. I'm kinda getting choked up right now thinking about it. Dammit, this whole thing is just wrong.
I second that! I can't spend a dime right now cause I ain't got one. Literally. So I put up a model kit that I've never even opened until last night. And that was just to make sure the parts were all there. If you're just too damn cheap to bid,***** off! I hate the thought that it could be any of us in the same situation. BUT IT COULD!! I'm gonna sell some CDs and DVDs to try and get a couple of bucks for the Cougar raffle. Five bucks could win you a '67 Cougar. "Trad"? No. But damn nice and one cool**** daily ride. As far as the other items up for bid, there's a lot of cool***** going cheap. I'll step down now.
Yes! Help out if you can...even if you dont want the car, we can sell it and donate that on top of the raffle proceeds. Or bid on the other fine items the other generous members have offered up. It all helps the same cause. Every little bit helps... Working towards 500 tickets sold for the car...not quite there yet... Thanks to the ones who have contributed! All $$ goes to his family... Thanks, Ray..
