That firewall is a brilliant solution and the car looks great too.

Man I sure hope the end color for this car is black!

Kind of like a tall dark haired woman in a black dress, she can be a sweet as pie but still has just the right amount of sinister to be ***y.
I love the way this car looks.

Ok. Car is just about ready for Gary Howard and shiny paint. Over the weekend, Keith got the entire car rewired and installed the dash...

Oh... and color... I'll leave that a mystery for now. But, does it really matter? Gary Howard is painting it. It will be right. :)

This one drove around under it's own power today... It's.... uhh... FAST.

I never thought I would fall for this car as hard as I have... And it drives every bit as good as it looks.

So, what's next? From here, it goes to Gary Howard's shop for shiny paint... Hopefully, Brian will keep us updated. And once it's done, I'll see if I can't talk my way into a full feature with glamour shots.

What's that junker over there on the other side of the garage, behind the torch?

As usual beautiful details from a talented bunch.
Question. is that fuel line just straight cut off as It penetrates the rubber hose or is there a barbed fitting that Im not seeing? Im curious because I really like how clean that looks

  16. Had the first drive in the roadster back to Austin with El Jefe yesterday - and man, does it fly now. That flathead is incredible and I can't believe how great it looks now. Thanks tons to Keith for the hard work in transforming this hot rod and to Ryan for do***enting the history and all the killer build shots! This has been such a cool experience

It's been so great to see the reaction from folks here following and posting on the build and I can't wait for Ryan to shoot some glamour photos once Gary is done with it.

I'm looking forward to having the finished car out at the 15th annual Lonestar Round Up!!!! That flathead is blinding out in the full sun!

Another nice build! Really clean and neat. Engine sounds great. Thanks for taking the time for a build thread.

Now, as Keith pops the ol' barber sheet...a little dust off with the wisk broom...."NEXT!".

You really gotta get some newer pictures of that thing. I've been staring at those shots for years and getting thirsty for more.

I was saying to myself "That thing would look good in Maroon" when you left it up to speculation...

Nailed it! The maroon paint is kinda becoming popular, and for a good reason. VERY cool. Gives me some ideas of my own.
