Gas pumps are a perfect fit. Post it up and enter!

Remember this contest is over 3 forums and can be any winter project you want to show off.....a restored or custom car, a new garage, a motorcycle you built with your son, a paint job....whatever you think shows us your hard work. Share with us! Remember lots of pics!

I remember when Shane first starting posting on the H.A.M.B. and people questioned his motives. I might have been one of them.

Today, I have to say that Shane and Baileigh have shown that they not only "talk the talk" but that they know how to back it up as well.

I'm one of the lucky ones in that I do this stuff for a living and have access to a whole shop full of tools and won't post any "Winter project" for that reason. I think that I have a 40 hour/week and a tool advantage over most guys here. That's what stokes me about Shanes contests. It gives the guy who has to "do it the hard way" the opportunity to showcase his talent and get recognized not only on the H.A.M.B. but with a swell piece of equipment from Baileigh as well.

    Shane rocks.

Baileigh...that is stepping up to the plate right there! Good. Now, do "arm chair" projects count?....no?...OK. (sigh) Rick.

Baileigh, and Shane, Thanks for doing this. It's great support for the site, and has the handy side benefit of putting lots of project threads together under one heading! I'm getting nothing done but hours of reading!

Nope. Love to, but all I've done this winter is put a new motor in my 64 Chevy pickup (230 I6 to 305 V8). Plus, watching somebody section a car in a couple of weeks, or build a phantom Lincoln woodie wagon from scratch is downright intimidating! The talent on this board is amazing.
I was supposed to be finishing the floors in my 57 Chevy wagon, but the truck took priority. Trucks done, so back to the 57!

Here is my multiple winters project. Bought a roller ch***is that needed so much stuff changed on it that I should have started from scratch, live and learn. Got rid of the automatic and the nine inch, switched to 4 speed with a QC, had to change the SBC side mounts to Hurst style mounts, etc, etc.
Made a Hurst front mount because it needed to be wider than the old one I had. Bought a Winters QC and set it up with old axle tubes modified to fit later axles and bearings. Using a Richmond T10, a Brookville body, Buick drums in front with Wilson Welding Lincoln repops. And on and on.
    Here was the start.
