I found this 34 Fordor back in 1996. I went back in 2010 & picked it up. This one is in progress now. I also found a 37 Chevrolet coupe, picked it up in 2008, sold it quick.

I guess that I'm all wrong. I thought that there was a 2011 thread.

I did a 2010 thread and I noticed someone has continued it for 2011 which is a very good idea but nothing in this thread specify it has to be a 2011 find! Just what you have found over time, current year or not! Cars or car related items. :)

Don't know if these pics will make it, (trying to figure out how) but this 57' A happens to be in my parents barn.
I 'think' I have it sold to a MG guy, but still waiting.

While this isn't a hot rod (YET).....I found a 1965 Ford F350 crew cab pick-up. Its been under a shed since 1982. Very little rust. Lots of dirt and junk though. It took 2 of us, 4 hours to clear out around it. Plans call for a lifted 4x4 "shop" truck. After we got it home and got the hood open , I found someone had installed a 1965 Mercury 390/300 super marauder motor in it.........That was a nice bonus.

hahaha! Don't give up! First locate the picture from your computer. Near the quick reply box at the bottom of the page press the "go advanced ****on" then press the "paper clip" (first option row aproximately in the middle). Find your pictures and press upload and wait til it says it's loaded and after these steps we should see your picture! By the way welcome to the H.A.M.B! Might be a good idea to introduce yourself at the right place!

    Thanx Clockwork.
I got an error message last night about some security token missing after I uploaded. (?)
I was unsure about an introduction because I don't have much to say, just some pics of an abandoned 57' MGA.
I do enjoy reading here. So much, I don't think I'll ever get to see it all though.

not in a barn, but a wood one car garage. I asked the old lady if she'd be interested in selling it and she said, "well, my husband died a few years ago and he just loved this car, so I couldn't take less than $15 for it"

Always wanted a "barn find" and today I got one! Not a car, but still very cool I think! Went with a friend to look at a pair of tires he was buying for his hotrod, and stuff was hanging on the wall. I spotted this old tank hanging from a nail and climbed up some shelving to grab it. Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this very early Moon tank, and the guy was happy to sell it to me!

absolute best find ive ever made. wasnt a barn however it was an old single car garage that was well sealed back in 2002.
1957 Chevy 2 door hardtop belair .absolute 1 owner 88,000 original miles , matador red india ivory top , factory spotlight and sunvisor. In the glove box was the one owner ***le, bill of sale , the brochure where she selected her options with a red marker . had the delaership put seat covers on it when she took delivery so the upholstery would stay nice. also came with dealership promotional 1957 chevrolet yardstick , and car cleaning kit . 283 2 barrel auto. a true survivor in every sence of the word .sitting right in front of it was her 1948 cadillac with 40,000 miles.

you would not recognise the 57 now , i got offered about 5 times what paid for it without ever touching it from a man named brannon in alabama about 5 years after i bought it.

He had it stripped , painted cherry red , 700r4 cut holes in the package tray for some ugly speakers..... i got sick . oh well if i wanted it to stay the same i shoulda kept it.

the real kick was they turned down 8,000 dollars from a local car dealer of whom they did not like an hour before they priced it to me for 5,000

I found this. '39 Hudson, bought at a dealer, as it was in '62 when last driven. After 20 years I got it running, and sold it.
