History The Battlebirds

The Battlebirds p***ed through a lot of hands and even the restored #98 car lacks parts found on the original. There originally was an oil cooler set just about where the p***enger seat would have been. There also was an aluminum divider between the oil cooler and the driver. The louvers were to draw in and exhaust air p***ing through the oil cooler.

 

The dual coils were added sometime later as the original cars has Vertex Magnetos.
