I was visiting a friend of mine, Jan Polwaczyk, in Martenize, CA after the Billetproof event last weekend and he showed me his latest project. He calls it the "Beast" and I cannot think of a better name. Jan started with a WW2 armored half track and a dual tantum axle dump truck. He cut the tracks of the half track and grafted on the dump truck tantum axles and then put the dump truck front axle in place of the half tracks front wheel drive axle, and he mounted the springs on the bottom so it is low. So of course he did what any red blooded american hot rodder would do if he had two rear axles, he put in two big blocks!! one in the original engine compartment and one in the back, each hooked to its own drive axle thru a turbo 400. I have attached some pics I took in his garage so they are not great but you can see what he is doing and yes the one pic is the 30 cal machine gun mounted in the front!! It is really an interesting build and very well done. And it drives!!! Rex
I think many on the HAMB,would like to join in for that! You better bring this guy along,to add to the fun.
The bumper sticker on the back says...I ALWAYS HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY and the other one says I LIKE IKE
HA! You wanna merge with no blinker and flip me off!!!! I GOT YOUR MERGE *****!!!! Oh let me have some fun with that on the road.
Very Interesting!! Cool post Rex, that is a one-of-a-kind for sure. Hope all is well in Ca. with you, ya ain't missin nuthin in Nebraska brother!-Larry/Sololobo
