After reading @Jive-Bomber 's post this morning about dry lakes racing in the 40's I ended up down the rabbit hole of looking for old land speed and drag racing footage on YouTube. I soon came across this video of what is basically the complete history or the cars, a presentation by the who's who of hot rodding, some reminiscing about the car buy former owners and the early days of drag racing, and just about every magazine the car has been in. This is a long one so sit back and grab a cold one (or three) a snack and check it out. I don't have the writing talent to do it justice so hopefully Bomber or one of the other mods will do a feature about it in the future. Anyway Enjoy!
