What a great story. Its taken me a week to get through it. I can only imagine where I'd be today had my father been as involved in rods as you or I am. Thanks for sharing and all you contribute to our lifestyle! God bless you.

Not entirely sure which is the hottest. Hmmmm. If you have both, good for you.

I know this is an old thread, but I just found it today. It has to be one of the most interesting threads I've ever seen on the H.A.M.B.

The car looks awesome, and you have some incredible skills.

I've actually seen that green Caddy in-person...

Thank you...actually that green Caddy belongs to my brother...right now we're making some "changes" to it so it'll be a "new" car this summer...and you're liable to see his and mine, and one other Cadillac together this summer...that is IF the other Cadillac gets done...!!! He's been promising it'll be done by April for a couple of years now...hasn't happened yet.

  17. "Changes", eh???? Sounds very interesting!! Are we gonna have to wait till these "changes" you speak of are complete???? :D

Just had to say thanks for taking the time to post this great build thread. Spent the better part of the evening reading it...

And as for your Caddy - all I can say is "Well done sir!" Words don't do it justice.

Hope to see it in person someday.

Thanx crazyhorse55, and just to kick this back up one more time....in the back window of my Caddy it reads "Elvis never owned this Cadillac," so I had Rat Rod Studios (Corvette Bob here on the HAMB) "build" me a poster of it, Elvis and the Cad...here it is for your viewing enjoyment...

I see you even got the idiot in the truck passing us...he scared the hell out of me...!!! We were running along about 40-45 mph in that section and I guess that wasn't fast enuff for him.

Thanx Mad-Cad...wish you woulda had your '56 Caddy there that weekend...maybe the vid would've been a bit smoother but the Apache is cool too.

I'm surprised to see the vid here, you'd told me you were vidoeing both of us but figured it'd go on you tube...thanx for posting it...even tho it took me a few days to find it...it's a cool vid...!!!
