The Best Cars Were Built in...........?

I'm new here but I have an opinion already. I'm a Geezer who's been in love with cars since I was 8 years old. Grew up with little books, saw everything that everyone built. East Coast vs West Coast, Barris vs Roth, all the top customizers....all the time. My own interest in Customs never went away even though I felt like an orphan during the Musclecar years....I'm thankful that I had Lowriders around to get me through the dry times.
I know it's my opinion, but I honestlt think that the best cars EVER are being built TODAY....I'll always love the cars of the past and look back to them for inspiration, but what you guys are doing today is simply incredible! There are guys building ugly cars today and building them poorly, and throwing Maltese Crosses on everything does not a Hot Rod make......but, to those guys who refuse to build cartoons of customs and rods....I salute you!
Big shops, little shops, no shop at all....most of you really do get it!!! Thanks for building cars that take the best of the past and have raised the bar!
I'm in 11 year old car heaven again, and I'm loving it! Thanks to every guy and girl who contributes to the hobby and please keep building....there's never a dull day here....and I'm thrilled about it.....Sandpiper
