Wow Stacey, I dont know if these were done more recently than the ones in last weeks artshow, but they look great. The other ones were good, but these look like the real deal. I took photography classes in high school, and its not so easy. Great work!

Here's a work in progress. Not final, or scary.

  10. Wow, lots of cool stuff to drool over this week. Tuck and Django- those shirts are badass! If you guys are sellin' em, sign me up! And Rollie, that 'stained glass' panel is off the hook. Coolest thing I've seen in a while.

Also, welcome aboard Robin B. Your stuff is killer, hope to see more of it in the future. The Misfits toilet seat rules.

Not much from me lately, though I did just finish up on this guitar for a buddy of mine:[IMG]

Tried to find something vaguely halloweenish that I've done, but couldn't come up with much:[IMG]

Deniz, that is way cool! Took balls to do that so I can see where he might be nervous about you not liking it but it turned out awesome! I'll have to get some pics of my skulls I've been working on.

  16. Yes, the were done exactly one week after my first shoot, and thanks! There's a lot of trial and error going on at the moment, but I think I'm getting very close to that magic combination. I was a photo major in college but it's been a very long time since I used any of that, and now I'm shooting digital which is another learning curve altogether.

  17. This weeks show was made for Tingler.
Well, this PC is about to get gone over by the PC Doctor so I thought I'd better post a couple quickly before I pull the plug.

Halloween is scary and, to some, so are pintos.

Hopefully I'll get another chance to put more stuff up this week end. We shall see.
Safe week end to all, I'm off to watch pumpkins get blown off yonder out the end of some air cannons and catipults and the like! Yup, Pimkin chunkin's alive and well in Petersburg Nebraska! Yee-Haw!
Later y'all ! (A little country lingo for you down home types---git 'er done!)

I don't know if I can include this contribution to this awesome thread?

I wrote this down the morning after Mike and I got that chicken poop roadster running...

    The roadster we awoke
    Popped and banged and smoked
    Wheezing and chugging
    The webs of neglect
    Brushed from it's metal visage.

    MAN!!!

What a show. I can't wait to get home and finish up my pen/ink....

    LOWCAB,
When using your oil pastels you should get a little cup of thinner and play with using it for some of your expressionistic stylizations.

I mean you have it down cold with paint - and oil pastels are some of my favorite to play with.

I did this one (shown on another art post about a year ago) with oil pastels and I used my fingers for blending. Then I showed my art instructor and he suggested the thinner.

I tried it on another painting and had a lot of fun that way. It was surprizingly versatile....

....can't wait to scan my art in so I can add it to this terrific thread!!!
