After about a year and a half I finally got to roll the A out into daylight for the first time. After some intial fuel pump woes, I fired her up. Engine is stock C59AB except for dual pipes and 22" Smithys, and had been sitting for quite a few years under a workbench. Oil pressure is 60lbs at idle and 75lbs revving, but I think there may be a sticky valve, it's not quite as smooth as it should be. Am I a happy camper? Hell, yeah!
That's a good looking automobile. I am not far from rolling mine out for the first time. I can feel it!
B***man! That thing looks COOOOL! I love it. I like that you used a '29 grill instead of a '32 for a change. And the flathead...and the wire wheels...and the chop...YES. Congratulations.
Thanks man. Chop is 4" and was done by some crude butcher in the dim dark past. Required a LOT of work to sort it out.
Yeah, I still got it. I'm stuck with it Do you miss your Plymouth? I thought maybe your sedan would have a flat 6 in there. ******Knuckles
I think your pics are reversed Looks really good. I thought about trading my coupe for a sedan. I love how much room they have. ******Knuckles
