History The Bird?

Looking for any info on a car named "The Bird" a 56 T bird driven by Richard Pole and may have been a B/Gas car. The is believed to be from Salt Lake City Utah.

 

Was it Green? If so, I just read an old HRM last night with a feature on it.

 

Yep, just now Wally the guy that was telling me about said car failed to tell me he read it . So I'll delete in a few minutes so you have a chance to read this.

 

it is green. Ran a Ford BB 427 SOHC with a Hilborn mechanical injecton in the socal drag circuit.Richard Pole did drive the car. Richard died in 2008. Not sure who owns it now.

 

It was at the CHRR in 2010. It's been at a couple shows here in Utah, being restored.
