Everybody likes to see customs buttoned up, but Saint Vasquez' Chevy is perhaps most remembered in its show regalia. Perhaps a simple, subtler, level spacer system could be devised for intermittent show display options. A couple minutes, a couple inches, up, down.
That will be very kool! I didn't want to say it but I was really hoping the top wasn't going to get welded on. Convertible Kustoms are just too kool and not enough of them get built these days!!!!
Lol, it is going to be large too. I moved the upper part of the window up 4" so that it will remain stock sized but layed down a bit..
Thanks! Im having fun too. I did not sleep that night with all the thoughts of it finnished running through my head.
Thanks Dave. I am also considering soft tanou cover that would come up to the front seat when the roof is off. It would be fun to have a few different options that would change the personality of the car in just a few minutes.
I love that the C-pillars come to a point at the belt line. That looks just spot on perfect like that!
Thanks James. I really wanted to make that a feature. It should look good with a colourfull roof and a black body.
Looking really good Eric! It's funny you hear guys complain about having one lift off top being a pain to get on and off and store etc and you are doing two and planning on a way to run it without any top at all. You are either completely insane or a glutton for punishment either way carry on!!
I like that color im thinkin keep the body black paint the roof the gold green color with some subtle pinstipes in an off white and a slighly diff shade of green around the edges of the top
I don't know if it matters, Eric, but I believe that's a Dupont Imron color chart. My first car (1968 Camaro RS) was the Lime Gold Metallic (5537), and it was Imron. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I hope to get the car there if its to the point that the roof is painted and the front and rear glass is in. See you there.
