Well? Any news? Did the wife get a C section to match your shoe's C notch? How's the little one? Being a dad is the best thing in the world my friend!
Thanks man. Healthy boy is here after a long and difficult delivery. I will be stuck in the house for a bit so I am just working out plans and design for the Ford right now. I will be back at it as soon as my wife is feeling a little better.
Just stumbled onto your Thread here Eric. Congrats on your son.. As a father of 4, the first three months are DONE for you... so just plan your build now on paper like you said... Haha Also, congrats on the Vert.. Great car, great project. I saw at first you were talking about selling, glad you didn't. Looking forward to your progress. Congrats Eric, maybe we can find some time to get in the garage and swap out that carb. Hope all is well and best wishes to you and the misses! Going to be cool having all these little ones running around the garage. It always made me smile to have my son come and "help" me...which usually lasted for about 5min before him and Grandpa went off on some misadventure lol Congrats my friend!
Congrats on the healthy baby. Hope he and mom are doing well. My '27 T Roadster build: www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t= 734383
Congratulations on the new boy! Got him wrenching yet? I'm guessing you'll have to wait a few weeks before teaching him to weld.
When we were moving I found a note book I had done the same thing. It's funny my list is everything I have done so far except mount 55 Pontiac trim. My guy keeps me on my toes. Good luck and sneak naps and breaks to work on cars! Mostly naps! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I picked up a kaiser bumper over rider and almost have it installed on my rear bumper thanks to my friend and fellow HAMBer BRENT. After grinding it and rechecking the fit 1000 times I was able to get some bolts in it. Now I can finish grinding it in for an even closer fit.
Well, the deep freeze is over so I drove my car home to the new house today. It has been in my friend BRENT's pole Parnell for the last four months. While it was there he and his Dad converted it to 12v. It now stars like a champ, thanks guys! It's now time to get back to the body work and a few other tricks. Brent also lent me a nice Fenton two pot intake to use my freshly built carbs on.
Thanks, I get on it here and there. The little helper slows me down a bit at five months but I do the best I can. Slow and steady.
Are they mounted inside the wheel openings or like foxcrafts or ford 3 ribs? Dig them any better pictures?
Thanks! They are mounted to the surface with a piece of 1/8 X 2 welded to the back of the skirt that hooks the lip of the wheel opening. The bottom has a small nut and bolt in each corner.
