    I have to ask what you are using to mount these windshield posts to and through the cowl? What fasteners and how anchored into the posts and what reinforcement under the cowl to nold securely and not allow wind shift, racking and distortion sine the gl*** is frameless and how it is secured mechanically.
    A beautiful piece of work, I must say!
     
  2. I was looking the longest time for a boat windshield, could not find one. I got antsy and wanted to drive the damn thing.

    I've used these fasteners, one side attaches to the wood the other end has a machine thread. They as simply bolted thru the cowl, two bolts per post.

  4. Are you not worried the wind will push on it and cause the thin sheetmetal of the cowl to flex? I would at least want a piece of plate under there with the fasteners through it, and would prefer to anchor that plate to the floor. Might be bad if some fat fool leans against it with 200+ lbs. What kind of reinforcement did original roadsters have?
