I must be living in a parallel universe. I've never even heard of a lot of that stuff and never owned any of it.

Only thing I ever had hanging from my mirror was an upper plate I found laying in a puddle of barf outside of a bar. Cleaned 'em up, drilled a hole, and hung them with a leather bootlace.

Did the California guys invent that too ?

I'm having a little trouble picturing some of the items you're talking about. Perhaps some "visual aides" would help. May I suggest you do a search and post pics of HAMB cars that you feel fit your list. That would probably be more effective.

Of all the 1950's, I think the 80's 50's were the best 50's. Sure, the 50's of the 70's were pretty good, with the Fonz and American Graffiti and what-not, and the 90's 50's really brought back some of the nostalgia for the 50's of the 70's, but the 50's in the 80's were probably the most authentic 50's since the 50's of the 50's.
