    For those of you out there that are not members of the OFC, this car epitomizes what got our heart rates up and spurred us into our own projects. But for all the plating, it is the ultimate "rod" as far as i am concerned! Thanx for sharing!

    As much as I'd love to be the caretaker for that car, Ron owns it and will be passing it down to his son who I hear also has a deep appreciation for what it is and what it represents.

    I love love love love love that car! Nothing better than a channeled deuce roadster.

    Reminds me of this one.... Ive been following this red one since seeing it at the GNRS in 2007....its also pre-'60 vette powered, same steering wheel and set-up, same channel, etc....


    well, thats what you get from an east coast guy...sucker for a tasty channel job....

    Love the ansens too....

    Thanks for doing this story, that was Geoff Carter that shot the car for Street Rodder.

    Don Broyles is still doing his "thing" here in Dayton....
    Does excellent work on flathead dizzy's too!!

    14 or 15 years old.
    I drove it once in a parking lot.
