Really like what you are doing. Isn't it amazing what just a few changes in the right direction will do to a build? I particularly like your shop electrical wiring. I think the same electrician wired my garage.
Just a little more than four month's until LARS.
Easy for me to say all I have to do is spray another coat of header paint on my exhaust and do a little cleaning.

Speaking of LARS and headers, I'm about to list an OFFY header in the hopes that the sale will help buy my plane ticket. Bob

What kind of OFFY header do you have? Maybe we can help you sell it. Anyway you have me curious.

Wish I had as much luck here selling my 62 Falcon moordoor.

Still curious what OFFY header was it.

    Gary

P.S. since we are becoming such friends on Chip's thread here I think it would be nice if we finished our posts with our first names. Like Bob I and some others do. Just a thought.

    Gary,
The electrical wiring in my garage is sketchy at best! After I finish the bucket, getting into a house with a nice garage will be my main priority!

I put a calendar in the garage with milestones to reach each weekend to keep me on track for LARS. I'm getting really excited and stressed out at the same time haha. Looking forward to taking a little break to hit the April Swap Meet in a couple weeks.

God it's got to be miserable in Ct. this winter. I've got another roadster friend there building a K.K.Klone. I hate to even email him. It always seems like bragging I haven't even burnt any firewood this winter. Hope you can thaw out Fathersday.

Hey Fred!!!! Good to have you back! I put out a A.P.B. lookin' for you a couple of months ago, but I guess someone got too "stalkery".... Sorry if someone was hiding in your bushes there a couple of nights!

Lately I have been the one on "where is he" list. Been a busy, weird, sad, happy week all at the same time. Had to say good bye to my 18 year dog on Monday, Mr. Hei Hei Chan. That's always tough for me, 'cause my animals are my children... Literally. The rest of the week was run, run, run, getting everything on my plate done for Goodguy's on Friday, then spending Friday and Saturday there. The grass coupled with the wind and the fact that EVERTHING in the desert is in bloom coupled to put not only me, but miss Judy in bed by about 4:00 yesterday. Today was spent making my shop clean enough to take in a customer's STUNNING Shelby GT350 for some work this week. Still isn't clean enough....

Friday, was my 50th birthday. Thanks everybody for the birthday wishes. They came from all over the world faster than I could respond to them. I never expected that many, again, thanks. Two things happened that were really cool on Friday. About 4:15, I saw my last chance for the day to run out to the post office and get a couple things in the mail. I jumped in the bucket, and spent the next frustrating 20 minutes going 1 1/2 miles in rush hour traffic.... Getting there just in time to see the doors locked in front of my eyes as, unbeknownst to me, my branch just recently switched to closing at 4:30... A mild tantrum followed. I jumped in the car still raving a bit, and an older gent with an English accent walked over, put his hand on my shoulder and said, "Hey, it's gonna be fine, lad." It was so startling that it really was okay! He then asked if I was going north as far as Camelback, "as that is my bus pulling away now, and I'm late for a date at the pub". Well hell sir, when ya put it that way, jump in! I took him up to this neat new joint on Camelback and he insisted that I had to come in and meet his "bird" and let him buy me a drink - and I spent one of the most pleasant hours I have in a long time!!! Nice couple! Cool to meet neat people.

The next was a bit stranger, but just plain sweet. I had just walked in the door from the pub, and there was a mighty knock on my door. I ran over and opened it up, and for just a second I saw nothing there. I looked down and there was my neighbors littlest daughter, who is 7, a tiny little adorable red headed thing that keeps pace with her older brothers. "Well hi little one!' I said, and with out saying a word she reached up and handed me a small magenta flower that she got off a neighbor's bush. At a loss for words I thanked her, and walked her down the street to her parents. I took that little flower, and I put it in one of my Don Montgomery books here in the house to preserve it. I have a hunch it'll be even more important one of these days than it was on Friday! Not a clue why I was the recipient of such a wonderful gift, but few things make you feel as important.

This week is gonna be another semi crazy one, hopefully with out the emotional extremes. I'll try to check in more often this week and get some more actual stuff done kinda tech if possible. For tonight I'll leave you guys with a picture Judy shot on yesterday's trip up to Good Guy's.
