It was released this summer on DVD. I just picked up a copy from Borders books. I had to have it ordered in, but it was under $10. Lou
I just ordered one from the christmas catalog So-cal Speed Shop sent me, I think it was more than $10 though.
Does anyone know what happen to the chop Merc in the movie? I figured it had to be an old custom at the time; since not too many guys were playing with sleds then.

I bought a copy of it on Ebay a couple of years ago. I think it was a DVD made from a VHS recording from TV. I saw the movie once in the 80's on TV and I didn't remember how stupid it was, definitely not Martin Sheen's finest. There's about 10-15 minutes of good footage of the car. It is entertaining to see someone driving the piss out of a magazine car though. I definitely like the underhood shot of the kid with the grafitti coupe sbc in it. Dave
i liked it way back when , good vs.evil and all that shit anybody remember what vic the sherrif drove i think it was a plymouth fury but im cant remember the the year? maybe 57..
