Hambers , Mikey is probably disappionted right now , and didn't think he would be swayed from his visions for this car when he started this thread ....
His decision to sell this car has been helped by some well respected people in Austin .
He has shown his respect for your rich history , make him feel even better and find the delivery he wants for his project ....

  2. My wifey recently asked if I still love her after all these years, so I lovingly replied..."Well honey, I've had over 300 cars since we got married in 76 and sold 'em all but I kept you."

Buying car and selling it is something I do to make a few extra bucks and add another piece to the memory banks. Like I said before, I would like to keep this one but fate has other plans. Unless some of you emotional misfits want it, here it is.

I love all cars but never get emotionally attached to just one except that 54 Ford Vic I bought when I was 14 and it is still here.

No worries on the gl*** going anywhere.
I picked up the car from Mikey today.
Fair deal, cruised home with no issues!

Body details will be addressed as time and $$ allow, starting with the roof.
6 is staying, it cruised 60-75 all the way home, 35 miles or so after dark.
Carbs are coming off before the weekend for a rebuild and I need to study the linkage. Judging by my headache got a little exhaust leak to take care of as well.
Again thanks Mikey, it was a pleasure doing business!
I just have to sell some **** before the bride gets home from Fargo.
It's hard to hide another wagon.
