Lots of info on the WWW about (the original) Traco just have to look for it! I think one of the employees now owns the company, not sure if the reputation has been carried on. How hard can it be, it's a small block Chevy!!!
Another one rarely seen. Many outside of the Nova world might think that all L79 cars were Super Sports and that they were all 4 speeds, well, no on both, here is a 66 Sport Coupe (bench seat) and a column shifted three speed, weird right, that was the standard combination if the 4 speed option was not chosen, automatic transmissions were never offered with the L79 engine. Unless you lived it, or were raised by someone that did, most people don't realize that a 4 speed was an option. 3 speed column shift was standard, anything else was an up-charge. I wish we could still order cars the way we want, instead of having to settele for a package of ******** that we will never use or want.
This would have been the finest “non-stolen” ChevyII ever made if the day the owner removed the 327 and replaced it with 283 on the fender badging. The next would have been a hood chain..at least where I lived.
