This 1935 Chevy spent about 20 years there. So, meet "The Rooster"! Can't wait to get started. I'm planning on keeping the wire wheels, so I have to figure out the stance first. Kathy
It's as great as you said it was. I'm thrilled for ya sweetie and I'm really looking forward to watching the build of this on the HAMB. CONGRATS!
Mannnnnnnnnnnn! That looks like an easy restoration, how's the mohair upholstery? Is this gonna be the one to try out 'flake?
Thanks you guys! Unclee, did you really say upholstery???? I have the seat springs and one egg shell! Will that work? And you know I am sick of sanding and painting. Here's a pic of my Fruck in case you forgot what it looks like. Oh wait, are those your shoes in the picture? LOL Kathy
Nice to see another early 30's Chevy. Mine's a 33 three window, look here for pics of the build so far: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=165476
Josh - That is a great build up you are doing! I saw the pic when you found it but missed the rest of the thread. Jerry- I'll be at the Roundup and I might have a shot with you! Ha! Public Enemy- I think the egg came first! LOL Knotheads- Someday chicken and someday feathers! I used to live in BC when I was a kid. Kathy
Awesome find. How's the wood? I ended up replacing most of the wood with steel or new pieces in my 34. -Rich
At this point I am thinking no chop, channel it the length of the frame, original wire wheels, big and littles and leave the outside as is. Although my friend said, I won't leave the paint as is-she's probably right! The wood is in pretty bad shape. I will replace it with metal. rsg- love your avatar - I am a hugh Batman fan - kinda to the sick point. Kathy
Now let's get one thing straight, I believe I have THE chicken coupe. You might have egg shells but I've got the bird.
I love this picture!. What member number is the chicken in the deuce club? and where is it's gold chain?
Tinman - Great Picture! Richard D -Why don't bring over your plasma cutter that you have never hooked up?? Ha Kathy
