Thanks for the comments. Don't know the exact chop, but I dig that too. It was designed and executed by Janne Kutja. Rear window is original 150 window but chopped and narrowed (will post some project photos on my profile). Engine 350 SBC, trans TH350, rear 10-Bolt, frame C-notched, four links at rear, bags in each corner. Original 2-door car, 54 bumbers, 55 headlight rims (by Kartsa Saarela), gold and white rolls&pleats interior, disk brakes in front, boosted 2 circuit brake system. Color Mercedes-Benz Barolo Rot (By Timo Hersti @ Hersti Autoshop). Glad you like it! :)

I sure would like to see the project photo's, espically the ones involving the choping of the rear window glass, or is it plexiglass?

    Hey Bonez,

Yea hit it on the head. Plan it out a watch what your doin. Hard to get friendly with your lady while rollin down the road with both hands on the wheel and your eyes clued to the pavement.... I still prefer "static" Guess I am just too old for new school. Lol

Why does almost every car I see here remove the hood ornament? I guess its all part of the sleek shaved look but I plan on keeping mine, I want everything to flow and i think it starts the flow :)

Shes Classy, not much custom, but classy

the lack of hood ornament is the same reason for lack of door handles, less clutter!

    less clutter=more flow :)

I have been thinking about the shaved aspect of klassy. I think that if someone was to do it just right, and I mean it would have to be just right. An emblem or handles could work just as well as side trim would. It would have to be the right car with the right stuff but I think it could work. Not saying it would have to be factory stuff either. Told fab stuff.

I can understand this, i've had a few vehicles that were all shaved. I just like the stuff on my olds haha

that was my thinking on my 41, beautiful detailed ribbed trim and door handle hadles with so much detail- would be a shame to remove it. But fender trim and other ornaments and badges had to go. Im not one to nominate my car to the list, but I guess I just did :)

But the trim thing in my mind depends on the car.
