Best thread ever... Thanks to Rikster once again as I haven't seen a couple of those before. The 40 merc is great and those Lincoln caps are perfect there. I think if I ever persue another project, the Ogden 41 Buick is some good inspiration. I'm becoming more of a fan of '41 Anything.

Looks like classy is low, lots of chrome, perfectly straight bodys with perfect paint. Love it!! I think most cars can be classy if done right but some are classy right from the start.

1941 was good model year in design wise for most of the makers.

Two cars spotted at this years KKOA Leadsled spectacular....

Mild but o-so-right 1951 Chevy fleetline with all the right touches.

53 Caddy Hubcaps with painted centers and added spinner, Packard side trim, clean rear quarter scoop... 1949 Ford taillights, custom grille opening to follow the wonderful composed grille. Real Appletons... If anybody has more pics of this one, please post them.

    Photos from the net...

Another one I really like is this 49-50 Ford sedan turned Hard-Top... Very Classy. (photos by Villainscc)

Man, it's a toss up for me. The kandy red one looks like it would even TASTE good and the black one looks like a rolling tuxedo. Man, either one would look killer in my driveway!
