What could be better than driving a survivor roadster on a sunny 75 degree fall day?

After three 12+ hour nights in the garage, my dad and I finally got The Cockroach back on the road!

If you havent been paying attention you will want to know more.

This car was built from '61 to 65' by Jim Cooper. A friend of ours who passed away. As luck would have it we ended up with 2 of his cars. And let me tell you, this guy KNEW how to build a car!

Its got a 401 nailhead in it. Supposedly bored .30 over. Weiand Drag Star Intake. 6 stromberg 97 carbs.

Ill get into the details of the car later. Right now I have to go to work.

See if you can hear the 2nd and 3rd gear scratch. Oh and its an automatic!

Yeah, man. From the firewall forward is chrome. The list of chrome stuff goes like this. Firewall, floor, rear springs, driveshaft, full exhaust, plates on the inside of the frame, front frame section, front suspension and nerf bars.

your so lucky Nick. Now u guys have yet another traditional car, isn't that four now! A third gear scratch from an auto is awsome. I'm slowly working on the 53 Dodge. Making a new driveshaft tunnel and replacing the floor right now.(It's so low the draftshaft has rubbed a groove in the floor) Then a lot of shaving and primering after that, I can't wait! I'd post a pick for u but haven't figured that part out yet. See u sometime,
